TECHNOLOGY Head & CONSULTANT

As Consultant to SDAIA’s Academy & Capacity Building Sector, I lead the technology behind Saudi Arabia’s national AI capability-building agenda.

• AthkaX — Technical Head of national learning and training management platform (LMS/TMS). I reviewed the existing platforms, defined the requirements, and manage the platform’s technical delivery for the entire Sector — working with the Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity and Digital Transformation teams, and leading integration to align it with national standards.
• SAMAI & SAMAI 2.0 — Technical Head for the “1 Million Saudis in AI” platform and its progress dashboard, in partnership with the National eLearning Centre; collaborated with Microsoft and IBM on course delivery, and directed SAMAI 2.0’s expansion across 11 national sectors.
• National AI Badges — Initiative Lead for the framework recognising AI Practitioners, AI Researchers and Data Scientists.
• Bootcamps — Program Owner of the Data Engineering Bootcamp; delivered the NVIDIA, Elevate, AthkaU and Athka KSU programmes.
• Events & partnerships — Organizer of ICAN 2026; contributor to GAIN 2024, facilitating 5 MoUs with global technology partners.
• Frameworks — Contributor to the National Occupation and Academic Frameworks for AI & Data; define and monitor the Sector’s KPIs.

Gathering requirements and data from AVL vendors in Saudi Arabia, designing a system to track the movement of 20,000 buses during Haj and Umrah, and creating system architecture for spatial and non-spatial analytics and business operations.
